Exciting New Data Release in Cadence

We are thrilled to announce a major enhancement to Cadence. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best tools for informed decision-making, we are restructuring and expanding our data catalogue. Unlike some providers, we are not charging more to access our curated datasets as they will be provided for free in our standard data catalogue.

What’s New?

Starting this month, we will be rolling out a series of datapacks -collections of curated datasets – to enhance your Cadence experience. In total, we plan to add 200 new data layers across a range of vital topics. These will include:

  • Environment: Stay informed on environmental changes and conservation efforts with updated data on climate, land use, natural resources, and more.
  • Demographics: Access the latest population statistics, social trends, and community insights to support your projects and initiatives.
  • Business and Enterprise: Explore economic landscapes with new data on retail spaces, tourism, and market trends.
  • Health and Wellbeing: Make data-driven decisions with the latest insights into public health, access to services, and quality of life metrics.
  • Workforce and Skills: Delve into data on employment, education, and apprenticeships.

New Improved Benefits

With this expansion, Cadence users will have unparalleled access to comprehensive data, enabling better analysis, planning, and decision-making across various sectors. Our goal is to make datasets from a range of providers easily discoverable, increasing their accessibility to everyone regardless of their technical expertise.

By having these datasets in our standard data catalogue, all users will be able to collaborate, share, and compare analysis in their own areas. And just like the current data available in our catalogue, the new datasets will also be available to access via API.

We look forward to seeing the innovative ways in which you will use these new resources. Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to explore the first of these datapacks as they become available.
